The foundation of my career as a designer was through typography. It’s where my love affair with visual communication, the craft of perfection, and all things aesthetically delightful began.
This naturally evolved into a career in graphic design, initially working in print — covering everything from corporate literature, print ad campaigns, packaging, signage and more.
I believe print will always have a place in this increasingly digital world. It will survive where there is passion. I will always value print as the “premium” medium, and will never be ashamed to smell a freshly printed book ;-)
Clearlight Saunas International
Clearlight Saunas Australia are fortunate to have their headquarters located in the iconic shire of Byron Bay. Earlier in 2024 we opened a Showroom for our local and visiting customer base to come and see our beautiful range of Infrared Saunas in real life. These are a set of A1 Posters produced for the space.
The images of the saunas are just some of the 3D visualisations that I designed and conceptualised in fine detail, taking inspiration from esteemed Architectural and Interior Design Journals, and working closely with an external 3D Visual supplier who specialises in furniture and home decor.
TripADeal
TripADeal “Travel & Escape” Magazine.
During my time at TripADeal, an online travel company, I designed and produced all the collateral for their first ever Roadshow, which travelled the east coast of Australia. Among a bunch of material gifted inside a branded showbag was a 36 page magazine, designed to inspire TripADeal’s large and loyal customer base.
Values & Culture Pack
I managed the design, content and print production for the TripADeal “Values & Culture Pack”: a set of postcards & annual culture plan presented in a specialty print slipcase, provided to all employees as part of the TripADeal employee onboarding journey.
Ivy College
While working at Jack Media, Ivy College - a nationally accredited college for online learning was a major client. Our lead generation campaigns would attract all manner of people looking to do online study. This is one of a series of eBooks to drive conversions for a series of Beauty courses they offered at the time.
Multiplex
Concepts for a hardcover book, showcasing the company’s highly esteemed National Architectural Design Competitions.
The Ink Group ( John Sands)
I had the absolute joy of working for The Ink Group for many years — initially freelance, then full-time, delivering high quality designs for their vast giftware and merchandise empire - designing anything from calendars, notebooks, greeting cards, wrapping paper, gift bags, gift boxes, etc.
Sprung!! Integrated Dance Theatre
SIDT is a NFP and community organisation based in the Northern Rivers of NSW, providing workshops and specialised dance and theatre training for people with a disability. Their ensemble of dancers and teachers is growing a wonderful reputation and following.
I took on the re-branding of Sprung!! and their ongoing design needs as a pro-bono side hustle. The re-brand aimed to elevate this registered NDIS provider in the eyes and minds of its audience, stakeholders, and sponsors.
